Marcos Vinicius Injured, Out Of Bout With Yuri Alcantara

Marcos “Vina” Vinicius has been forced to withdraw from his bout with Yuri Alcantara. The two Brazilians were set to meet at UFC On FX 8: Belfort Vs Rockhold, but an injury to Vina’s knee has halted the bout. At the time of the report, the UFC was scrambling for a new replacement for Vina, but nothing has been announced. Vina is mostly known for being part of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil cast.

Tatame was the first to report the story. UFC On FX 8: Belfort Vs Rockhold takes place on  on May 18 at Arena Jaragua in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Middleweights Vitor Belfort and former Strikeforce Champion Luke Rockhold will meet in the main event.
