Bellator MMA To Hold Three ‘Four-Man’ Tournaments In Annual Summer Series

New Bellator logo

Bellator MMA has announced today that they will be holding three tournaments in their summer series this year, but instead of doing their typical 8 man tournaments they will be four man tournaments. The Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight and Bantamweight divisions will each have four representatives fight it out to see who gets a crack at the title of their respective divisions.

“We are always striving to enhance every aspect of the Bellator formula for our fighters and fans,” Bellator CEO & Chairman Bjorn Rebney said. “Our Champions consistently defending their titles against world class challengers who’ve earned their title shots creates a win/win for those two crucial groups.  Three stacked 4-man tournaments over our Summer Series on Spike is another great step in our growth and evolution”

Bellator MMA nor SpikeTV have announced the cities or dates for the cards, but they plan on announcing them shortly.
