Soa Palelei vs. Stipe Miocic Inked for UFC 161

As reported on Fighters.com yesterday, Soa Palelei has come back to the UFC, and the rumor was a fight with fellow heavyweight Stipe Miocic. That is exactly what the UFC had in mind, and the bout will take place at UFC 161 the MPS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. UFC officials have confirmed the bout for June 15.

Miocic is coming off of his first loss of his career in a fight of the night performance against Stefan Struve. Palelei last fought in the UFC in 1997, and has since gone 10-1. That one loss came by the hands of Daniel Cormier.  The UFC has made no indication as to where this fght will take place on the card.
