What are the most intriguing fights on the UFC on Fuel 6 card this Saturday?
RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
Anytime Gomi fights, I'm intrigued, or at least on the edge of my seat. I'm not a Gomi "guy" per se, but I get it, ya dig? I know his place in the sport, I know what he's done, and I know that there is a portion of the hardcore fanbase that thinks he is Japanese royalty. I don't think he's beating Mac Danzig, but I get it. I'm interested to see Stanislav Nedkov fight. For those of you who have forgotten, Nedkov was he only non-Brazilian to defeat a Brazilian at UFC 134, which was the UFC's first foray into Brazil after a 13-year absence. His impressive KO over Luis Artur Cane was much more impressive at the time than it is today, because Cane hasn't exactly done anything, you know, good since that fight. Nedkov hasn't had a fight since that night, having dalt with injuries ever since. Silva's a big step up from Cane.

I'm looking forward to seeing Rich Franklin and Cung Le fight. Other than that, I'm just hoping for good fights. There's not a lot of title implications here in any of the fights, so I just want to see some good action.
ANWAR PEREZ, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
Honestly, the main event intrigues me the most. It's still inspiring to see Rich Franklin fight, and not just scrap, but put on a clinic on how to plan out fighting a particular fighter. There are not too many progressive veterans that move with the times, and Franklin has shown that he is still very capable or more than just showcase fights. Hopefully, with a win Saturday night, we can see Franklin facing off against a top contender to see what (if any at his age) he has left for the top tier.
ERIC HOBAUGH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I am most looking forward to the Mac Danzig vs Takanori Gomi fight. I am hopeful that the old Gomi will show up and remind us why he is considered a top five all time lightweight. His last three losses have been to Kenny Florian, Clay Guida and Nate Diaz. I think that five years ago he would have easily beaten all three of those fighters. The reality of it is he is on the down side of his career, but he could absolutely make another run. If he can beat Danzig he can at least start up the mountain again.
BRAD WALKER, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
I was intrigued by the previously mentioned and apparently not happening Patrick Cote vs Wanderlei Silva fight that vanished, but really my mind sticks to Cung Le vs. Rich Franklin. Cung is up there in age, but he also has such an incredible and rare talent in MMA with his striking style. Whether or not he wins this fight will probably tell us where he will permanently stand in the UFC as either a guy making his way into the top 10 or a guy who will never make is way there. Personally I would love to see Cung recapture his old glory and make his way up the rankings, but I would never guess that it's going to fall into line. He's an immensely talented fighter with the strangest tactics ive ever seen, but he really needs this win to verify his entire career.
