MONTREAL - It wasn't quite the brawl Matt Riddle may have wanted, but he'll certainly take the result. With a pace that often was more conservative than Riddle often favors, he was able to land often enough with a combination of kicks and strikes to get past John Maguire for a unanimous decision win. Riddle took the fight with a pair of 30-27 scores and a 29-28.
The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of Saturday's UFC 154 event at Bell Centre in Montreal.
