Stupid people.

A few of the stupidest customers I've helped recently..

-Lady comes in, livid that her new phone doesn't work. I take the phone apart (soft reset fixes a lot of problems) & notice there is no battery. I ask if she took it out for any particular reason- she flips. "No one told me I'd need to put a goddamn battery in!"

-Looking over a bill for a mid 50's ish guy, notice he'd save about $30 a month changing to a newer unlimited minute plan. He asks if he would keep his rollover minutes. I try to explain the concept of "unlimited minutes" & after about 5 mins give up. No matter how I worded it, he was convinced it was a scam & that it was all a ploy to make him lose his rollover minutes.

-Lady called asking for us to fax her original receipt for her last purchase. I pull up her account, reprint it, & fax a copy. She calls back a few mins later to inform me the receipt came across as a copy of the receipt on normal paper & that she needed it to look like the actual receipt on receipt paper.

-Guy wanted me to set up email on his phone. When I asked for his password, he scoffed at me & said he never had one. I explained he had to have one but I would try to help him reset it if he forgot it. He insisted I didn't know what I was talking about & said he would "just find someone who knew what they were doing" to help instead.

Just a few that come to mind..

Who are some of the people you've witnessed who have made you wonder how tf they've survived in life?
