Two more fights have been added to the UFC Fight Night 35 event in Duluth, Georgia this January, as the UFC announced on Tuesday that Yoel Romero will take on Derek Brunson, and Vinc Pichel will meet Garett Whiteley.
Both Romero and Brunson picked up wins earlier this month at UFC Fight For The Troops 3. Brunson opened the night off with an exciting knockdown and submission over Brian Houston in the night's first fight, while Romero knocked out Ronny Markes on the night's main card.
Pichel hasn't fought since his UFC debut in December of last year, missing all of 2013 due to injuries. In his last outing, he was knocked out by Rustam Khabilov when he was slammed on his head during a suplex. He'll take on Whiteley, who also suffered his first career loss in his UFC debut. That came last month at UFC Fight Night 29 when he was stopped by Alan Patrick in Brazil.
UFC Fight Night 35 airs live on Fox Sports 1 on Wednesday, January 15, headlined by the middleweight bout between Luke Rockhold and Costa Philippou.
