Thiago Silva out of Ovince St. Preux bout at UFC Fight Night 35 a day after fight was announced

Just a day after the fight was announced, Thiago Silva is now out of a fight against Ovince St. Preux at UFC Fight Night 35.

The bout was supposed to serve as the co-main event for the Jan. 15 card coming to Duluth, Georgia, but a new bout will be put in that slot in the near future.

The reason for Silva's removal from the card wasn't announced by the UFC on Thursday, but regardless St. Preux is likely to remain on the card. He'll be hoping to score his third straight win inside the Octagon after wins over Gian Villante and Cody Donovan this year.
