Bellator 109: Shlemenko Vs. Marshall takes place tonight at the Sands Casino Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and the event will mark the final show of Bellator’s year. The main card will feature a middleweight title fight between Alexander Shlemenko and Doug Marshall, the lightweight tournament final between Will Brooks and Alexander Sarnavskiy, and the welterweight tourney final between Rick Hawn and Ron Keslar.

Round 1(ref: )
Haas takes the center and the feeling out begins. Both miss with kicks early and Caslow is the one coming forward. Leg kicks seem to be in the plans for Caslow as he lands a pair, and then a solid knee. Haas lands a body kick of his own. Caslow lands a right to the body that backs up Haas and he returns fire with a push kick. Caslow lands a nice spinning back kick and clinches. Caslow almost gets a takedown off of a wizzer, but Haas uses a slick combination that lands on the exit. Caslow coming forward again and Haas lands a stiff leg kick. Haas lands a solid leg kick and a right hand. Both land glancing body kicks as the slow first round winds down. Haas comes in with a combination, but Caslow lands a counter right hand as the round ends.

Round 2
Caslow takes the center and they are much more active already. Haas comes forward and misses with a spinning back fist and Caslow comes forward and lands a right hand. Caslow goes low with a low kick that makes Haas limp for a second. Caslow continues to work the leg. Haas seems to be having a problem pulling the trigger. Haas lands a right hand but Caslow counters with a 1-2. Caslow lands another leg kick, but Haas lands a combination of his own. Caslow comes forward with a combination and Haas comes forward swinging. The two clinch and Caslow gets the takedown and moves into side control. Haas retains guard and is doing a good job of tying up Caslow. Caslow lands a nice elbow after he postures up. Caslow moves to half guard and Haas scrambles to his knees. Caslow drops back with a Peruvian neck tie, but Haas defends it.

Caslow coming forward and he lands a nice right hand. Haas is backing up and fainting, but still isnt throwing much. Haas lands a nice right hand. Caslow lands a mean low kick and Haas is backing up again. Haas lands a nice front kick but then misses with some strikes. Caslow seems like the fresher fighter and Haas lands a stiff leg kick. Caslow lands a big right hand and Haas goes down. Caslow swarms and laces up a guillotine choke. Initially Haas defends well, but Caslow eventually adjusts and gets the tap.

Brett Glass vs. Brent Primus
Round 1(ref: Keith Peterson)
Glass takes the center and opens with a low kick and Primus misses with a hook. Primus lands a nice hook and Glass comes forward with a right hand and a clinch that pushes Primus on the fence. Primus turns it around and they are exchanging knees on the inside. Primus almost gets the takedown and lands a left hand. Glass is defending well, but Primus eventually gets the takedown. Primus lands some ground and pound and moves to mount. Primus moves to full mount and lands some solid punches and Glass gives up his back. Primus is working the rear naked choke and Glass is forced to tap out.

Ian Rammel vs. Bubba Jenkins
Round 1(ref: Dan Miragliotta)
Jenkins takes the center and lands a big right hand. Rammel shoots on Jenkins and Jenkins reverses and gets on top. Jenkins goes to work with ground and pound. Jenkins is landing some solid elbows from full guard. Rammel is trying to control the posture but Jenkins is staying heavy. Rammel lands a stiff elbow from the bottom, but he has a nice cut opened on his forehead now. Rammel fishing for a kimura, but Jenkins is landing big elbows to the body. Jenkins turns his way out, and he has a small cut too. Ref stands them up and Rammel lands a heavy kick. Rammel shoots for the takedown again, and again Jenkins ends up on top. Jenkins is back to landing more ground and pound with 20 seconds left.

Round 2
Jenkins takes the center and lands a leg kick. Rammel fires back with one of his own, and Jenkins shoots and gets the takedown. Jenkins walks Rammel to the cage and is stacking him up and landing punches. Jenkins moves to half guard and lands some strikes from the top. Rammel tries to cage walk but Jenkins smells the armbar and defends it well. Rammel is landing some elbows from the bottom, but Jenkins is the one running the show here. Jenkins moves to half guard again and lands a pair of elbows. Jenkins traps the arm of Rammel and lands a handful of right hands. Rammel fishing for the kimura again, but the round ends and Jenkins finishes strong.

Rammel comes forward and lands a nice kick. Jenkins shoots from no mans land, and Rammel still can’t defend. Jenkins already landing grinding elbows. Rammel doing a better job of tying up Jenkins but he postures up and steps back. Jenkins jumps in the air to land a strike to the grounded Rammel, but Rammel defends and Jenkins almost gets upkicked for his troubles. Jenkins landing right hands and Rammel is just covering up. Jenkins swarms and starts pounding on Rammel. Rammel gives up his back but Jenkins keeps swinging and lands a big right hand. Jenkins lands a ½ dozen more and puts away Rammel.

Saul Almeida vs. Goiti Yamauchi
Round 1(ref:)
Yamauchi takes the center and Almeida is landing jabs. Yamauchi is landing counters and lands a glancing headkick. Almeida is clearly the bigger fighter. Yamauchi lands a nice one two and clinches Almeida on the fence. Almeida turns it around and puts Yamauchi on the fence. Yamauchi lands a solid elbow from the clinch. Yamauchi gets the thai plum and breaks off and starts landing combinations. Almeida backs up and throws a solid right hook, but Yamauchi fires back with a quick combination. Yamauchi lands a big right hand that sends Almeida to his wallet. Yamauchi swarms and pounds out Almeida.

Keith Bell vs. Blagoi Ivanov
Round 1(ref:)
Bell takes the center and is plotting forward. Both fighters are fainting and Ivanov is now coming forward. Bell lands a slapping body kick. Ivanov lands a right hand and Bell answers back. Bell lands a right hand and Ivanov goes down but pops up. Ivanov’s nose is leaking and he is eating knees to the body. Bell gets reversed and Ivanov shoots. Bell defends and they exchange knees on the way up. Bell is coming forward and Ivanov is still shaking out the cobwebs. Ivanov eats another big right hand but this one he walks through. Bell misses with a head kick but lands a right hand behind it. Ivanov lands a big left hand and a right hand behind it that backs up Bell to the fence. Ivanov lands another left hand and shoots and goes for the takedown. Ivanov takes the back of Bell, and laces up the rear naked choke.

Lightweights getting set to scrap here. Abdulla tales the center and Bannon is coming forward throwing his right hand. They exchange and Bannon laces up the thai clinch and is landing knees. Bannon gets the inside trip and ends up in half guard, and moves right into side control. Bannon moves into mount and he is lacing up a head and arm choke and moves back to side control. Abdulla goes out cold, tech submission win.

Patrick Cenoble vs. Terry Etim

Both come out and jab and Etim shoots on the takedown. Cenoble ties up Etim, but he postures and moves to side mount and onto the back of Cenoble. Cenoble gives up his back and lets Etim have mount. Etim gets it back to guard and Etim is standing and landing ground and pound. Cenoble ties up Etim again, but this is all one way traffic so far. Cenoble pushed Etim off, but Etim comes forward and ends up on the back of Cenoble working in the choke. Cenoble is defending well, but Etim laces up the body triangle as Cenoble is trying to stand up. Etim is landing some punches but we are at a stalemate.

Cenoble takes the center and Etim lands a nice body kick. Etim shoots from a mile away and Cenoble escapes. Cenoble lands a pair of nice jabs. Cenoble lands a right uppercut and Etim gets the takedown. Etim posturing up and softening Cenoble up with ground and pound. Etim lands some slick elbows from inside the guard. Cenoble is fighting like he has never been on his back before in a fight. Ref stands them up. Cenoble comes forward and lands a jab and a leg kick. Etim goes up stairs with a head kick, and once again gets the takedown. It’s almost like he isn’t bothering to defend them. Etim moves to side control. Cenoble scrambles to his feet and lands a solid leg kick. Cenoble lands a nice right hand as the bell rings.

Cenoble takes the center and they exchange jabs. Cenoble lands a pair of jabs, and Etim returns fire with a hook and a takedown. Etim goes to work and moves to side control. Etim is trying to frame up the crucifix but Cenoble is defending it. Cenoble tries to explode up but gives up his back again. Etim really working for the RNC. Cenoble is throwing strikes over his shoulder, but Etim is still working on the choke. Cenoble flips over and ends up on top, but not enough time to do anything.

Brooks takes the center and Sarnavskiy opens up with a jab and leg kick. Sarnavskiy misses with a spinning back kick but lands a hook. Brooks lands a nice leg and clinches with Sarnavskiy and puts him on the fence. Sarnavskiy spins it around and is landing knees on Brooks along the fence. Brooks lands a nice one-two and Sarnavskiy answers with a pair of hooks. Brooks comes forward with a four piece but Sarnavskiy answers with a stiff uppercut. Sarnavskiy puts Brooks on the fence but Brooks turns it around and is fishing for the takedown. Brooks gets the takedown but Sarnavskiy is tieing him up well. Sarnavskiy gets to his feet and lands a nice body shot. Brooks swings on Sarnavskiy but they clinch and Brooks gets the inside trip. Brooks lands some ground and stands up to land more. Brooks moves to half guard and is working the elbows to the side of Sarnavskiy’s face.

Brooks takes the center and lands a front kick. Sarnavskiy lands a nice leg kick of his own. Sarnavskiy lands a pair of body shots and a stiff jab. Brooks shoots in on Sarnavskiy but Sarnavskiy is defending well so far. They split and Brooks lands a jab, and shoots again on Sarnavskiy. Brooks gets the takedown and goes to work from guard. Brooks landing some nice inside shots and elbows. Sarnavskiy using rubber guard to wrap up Brooks, but some shots are still coming in. Brooks stands and lands some solid shots and gets right back into the guard. Sarnavskiy tries to scramble up but he gives up his back and Brooks has a hook in and is landing punches. Full back mount from Brooks and he is landing shots. Sarnavskiy flips over and he is just trying to survive.

Brooks takes the center and lands a front kick and misses with a high kick. Brooks lands a high kick and a right hand, and Brooks gets the takedown. Brooks stacks Sarnavskiy on the fence and is landing shots to the body. Brooks is landing some ground and pound as Sarnavskiy is using rubber guard to tie up Brooks. Brooks is still on top working over Sarnavskiy with ground and pound and short elbows. Brooks is staying really busy with ground and pound. Brooks is landing heavy right hands, and he stands up and passes to half guard as he lands some more. Sarnavskiy’s face is bleeding and he moves into full mount. Sarnavskiy gives up his back but Brooks only has 20 seconds to finish.
