Mike Brown Vs Akira Corassani Set For FOX Sports 1 Debut

A new featherweight bout has been announced for the UFC On FOX Sports 1: 1 card. UFC officials have confirmed that former WEC champion Mike Brown will take on Akira Corassani on the preliminary card. Corassani is riding a two fight win streak, most recently earning a unanimous decision win over Robbie Peralta. Brown is a plus two going into this fight as well, and he most recently picked up the decision over Daniel Pineda.

UFC On FOX Sports 1: 1 takes place in Boston on Saturday August 17 and the event will kick off the first card on FOX’s new channel Fox Sports 1. The last time the UFC was in Boston was for UFC 118: Edgar Vs Penn II at the TD Garden, and that is where this card will be as well.
