Unless new to the sport, most fans undoubtedly remember former UFC middleweight Tim Credeur from his time on TUF 7 or one of his post-show performances. However, the only cage Credeur is currently concerned with involves a cell in Louisiana where he was arrested this week on charges relating to an April 16 incident.
MMAJunkie was first to report the matter, confirming Credeur’s status with local authorities. The 35-year old was apparently pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt when marijuana and a gun were found in his possession.
Credeur posted a $5,500 bond and was released. No court date has been set for him to further address the charges.
The 12-4 Credeur started his UFC career off with three finishes before falling in an exciting effort against Nate Quarry. He suffered a strike-based stoppage in a subsequent scrap with Ed Herman, getting axed by the organization shortly thereafter.
