Eddie Alvarez’s Case Against Bellator Not Due Back In Court Until September of NEXT Year

There has been no shortage of comments from Eddie Alvarez and Bellator MMA in regards to the court case between the two parties, but now a timeline has surfaced with regards to the case, and its not good for Alvarez. According to reports, Alvarez and Bellator won’t meet in court until September 15, 2014, and that would just be for pre-trial meetings. This could mean we wouldn’t see Alvarez in ANY cage until 2015 unless the two parties reach a settlement.

Alvarez hasn’t fought since October of Last year, and with only one loss since 2009 when he joined Bellator, the 29 year old is clearly in his prime. Alvarez has been outspoken about the case in the past, but has remained quiet since the parties decided to work it out in court. Until
