Alistair Overeem Gives Statement After Being Granted License to Fight at UFC 156

After NSAC mettng

UFC Heavyweight Alistair Overeem has given his first statement following his re-licensing in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, saying he is happy to have his PED problems behind him while adding that he’s now focused 100% on Antonio Silva.

Overeem will be fighting for the first time in almost a year when he gets into the cage with Silva, though according to UFC President Dana White, “The Demolition Man” is just one win away from earning a shot at divisional champion Cain Velasquez.  Overeem fights Silva at UFC 156: Aldo vs. Edgar on February 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
