ONE Fighting Championship's 7th event will happen on Feb 2, and Canadian fans are lucky as the show will be aired live on the Fight Network.
ONE Fighting Championship will host their 7th event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this February, and Canadian fans are in luck, as ONE FC shows will now be televised live in the country. Usually being only available on an online PPV stream, all ONE FC events will now be shown on the Fight Network.

Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, has signed a long-term multi-platform programming partnership with ONE Fighting Championship, Asia’s preeminent mixed martial arts organization. The five-year partnership will include live broadcasts of all ONE FC events on Fight Network, exclusively in Canada.
Fight Network has aired previous events from ONE FC, but the new deal will feature upcoming shows airing live in their entirety, beginning with ONE FC 7: Return of Warriors on February 2 at Stadium Putra in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Also news concerning the promotion, ONE FC officials have announced their plans of hosting 12 events in 2013 as they expand to more countries in the region. It may be a tough task to host a little over 1 event per month on average, while still keeping the quality of the cards on a high level, but if they pull it off as promised it could be great for the fighters and the fans in the region.
ONE FC 7 will be headlined by a featherweight championship bout between two Filipinos who are friends and former training partners, in Eric Kelly (9-0) and Honorio Banario (7-1). Also featured on the card are top notch bouts such as the flyweight title eliminator between Shinichi Kojima and Rey Docyogen, and a lightweight bout between top prospect Lowen Tynanes and Vuyisile Colossa.
