MMA fans will be getting a little more Chael Sonnen in their lives starting on January 29 when the outspoken fighter dons his analyst’s cap on a weekly basis as part of the broadcasting team on UFC Tonight. The program airs every Tuesday and features news/interviews related to the UFC.
Sonnen will take a spot formerly occupied by Todd Harris where he’ll work alongside Kenny Florian. Though new, the role should be a familiar one to the controversial light heavyweight contender after numerous stops on Fuel TV to help breakdown pre/post-event festivities.
The move also gives viewers a chance to check out Sonnen twice on Tuesdays thanks to his job as coach on the Ultimate Fighter 17. The show is set to broadcast weekly at 9:00 PM EST on FX (9:00 PM EST), an hour before UFC Tonight hits the airwaves.
