The UFC has booked a bout between Ultimate Fighter champs for the company’s second show on FOX Sports 1 in the form of a fight featuring welterweights Court McGee-Robert Whittaker. In addition to having the distinction of having won the reality show, both also happen to be solid scrappers with a reputation for finishing foes.
UFC officials have confirmed the tilt will take place on August 28 at UFC on FS 2. The show is scheduled for Indianapolis and will feature a main event between welterweights Carlos Condit-Martin Kampmann.
McGee, who came out on tap at TUF 11, holds an overall record of 15-3 with ten stoppages and a recent victory over Josh Neer. Comparably, TUF: Smashes winner Whittaker is 11-2 with ten TKOs/submissions to his credit.
