Sam Stout-Caros Fodor fighting at UFC 157

With the floodgates apparently open, the transfer of Strikeforce talent into the UFC has been steady. The latest competitor to previously call the promotion home with an Octagon debut ahead of him is Caros Fodor, a lightweight now linked to a February 23 fight against Sam Stout.

The Canadian Press was first to report the match-up. Fodor is the second Strikeforce competitor to sign for a scrap at UFC 157, joining middleweight Robbie Lawler on the Anaheim-bound card.

The 28-year old Fodor had a five-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing, falling on the scorecards to Pat Healy. He holds an overall record 7-2 including five finishes.

By comparison, Stout is 18-8-1 with ten stoppages and also happens to be coming off a decision loss. Among the opponents the heavy-handed Canadian has taken out during his run in the ring are the likes of Yves Edwards, Spencer Fisher, and Joe Lauzon.
