Two more bouts are headed to UFC 157, as MMAJunkie.com reports that Brendan Schaub vs. Lavar Johnson and Neil Magny vs. Jon Manley will both head to the Feb. 23 card in Anaheim, Calif.
Schaub and Johnson were originally scheduled to meet this past Saturday night at UFC on Fox 5 on the night's preliminary card, but a groin injury suffered by Johnson forced him out just over a week before the event. Both fighters are coming off of losses in their last fights, with Johnson suffering a submission loss to Stefan Struve, and Schaub suffering back to back knockout losses against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Ben Rothwell.
Though Magny and Manley didn't get an invite to this week's Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale, the two semifinalists from this season's welterweight tournament will get an opportunity in the UFC nonetheless. Manley lost a decision to Team Nelson teammate Colton Smith in the semifinals, while Magny was knocked out by his Team Carwin teammate Mike Ricci.
UFC 157 will be headlined by the first ever women's bout in the UFC, as Ronda Rousey will fight Liz Carmouche for the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship.
