Rory MacDonald believes his body of work, coupled with a recent victory over Demian Maia, should make him the next challenger to the UFC welterweight title.
The vacant belt will be up for grabs next month when Johny Hendricks collides with Robbie Lawler.
I would like to fight the winner of hendricks and lawler @ufc @danawhite

MacDonald’s challenge didn’t go unnoticed by another member of the UFC’s 170-pound division, as Tyron Woodley had an interesting response.
Woodley is set to meet Carlos Condit at UFC 171, the same spot for the Hendricks-Lawler contest.
“@rory_macdonald: I would like to fight the winner of hendricks and lawler @ufc @danawhite” I would like to fly and be invisible. Nice try!
