Bellator came under fire when they booked Pat Curran in an immediate rematch with Daniel Straus, and on Thursday Straus nearly made that an even bigger problem.
The Bellator Featherweight Champion initially missed weight on Thursday for their fight on Friday's Bellator 112 event. For some reason, despite it being a Championship fight, he was allowed added time to get to the 145 lb. limit.
Straus had a rough cut even before needing the extra time, as he wound up cutting off his dreadlocks in a vain attempt to hit the mark. Despite that, his initial weight was a half pound over, and the Indiana commission allowed the extra two hours to hit the limit. He's since done that, and the fight will go on as planned tomorrow on Spike.
