"I'm taking my shower after the fight. I'm in my suit and tie, after that, they passed by, took the belt and they left with it, without even telling me. I have the belts I won before, but I don't have the one from my last fight."
-Georges St-Pierre tells French Canadian program Infoman that someone came and took his Championship belt backstage after UFC 167 (translated and transcribed by MMAMania.com).
Penick's Analysis: It's really quite saddening to see how one of the most successful fighters in UFC history was treated by the very same organization at the end. In addition to the comments he stood by about PR officials trying to keep him from the post-fight press conference, the things that Dana White said immediately after UFC 167, and now this, it shows a shocking lack of decency to St-Pierre because of a bad decision and his desire to take a step back. That step back could be a permanent move away if these stories are true and he ultimately doesn't want to come back to deal with them.
