It may have been one of the more one-sided shellackings in UFC history but both Glover Teixeira and Fabio Maldonado have received the same amount of time off. Three other fighters would receive the 180-day suspensions that Maldonado and Teixeira would receive. UFC officials were in charge of doling out the suspensions in lieu of an athletic commission in Brazil, and gave the results to the Association of Boxing Commissions today.
In total, thirteen fighters received medical suspensions from last Saturday’s card in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
